What is the childcare voucher scheme?

The voucher scheme works by allowing you to buy childcare vouchers (these can be used to pay for childcare) directly from your gross salary - before tax and national insurance are deducted.

How do I book and pay by childcare vouchers?

Bookings can be made either online or by calling J and C’s Booking team on 020 3291 4387. For online bookings, please enter your child care providers name. If your chosen provider is not listed, please enter other. Complete your booking by confirming voucher payment. This will provide you with a booking reference number to be used when processing your childcare voucher payment.

Do you accept all childcare providers?

Yes, J and C Academy accept all Childcare Vouchers. If your provider is not currently registered us, please request J and C Academy via your providers website and we will be more than happy to complete and confirm their registration.

I have not received a booking confirmation.. yet I am paying by childcare voucher

Paying by Childcare Voucher may take up to 14 days to arrive. Confirmation of booking payment will be sent once J and C have receipt of your childcare vouchers. Please note that voucher payments are only accepted for bookings made five days in advance.

I have paper vouchers, how do I pay?

Please send these to our Head Office, confirming your unique booking reference number. Please address this to our Booking Team. Our address: SAV House, 861 Coronation Road, Park Park Royal, NW10 7PT.

I receive funding for childcare, do you accept this as a payment?

We accept childcare payment by Schools, Local Authority, Jobseekers, Student and Charity funding. If you are eligible for funding, please complete the registration form with the organisation providing the funding. They will then forward the request to either our Head Office or to our email address clubs@jandcacademy.com.

Tax credits

Can I claim my child tax credits?

Yes, you can claim tax credits to help with your childcare costs if you’re eligible. However, payment will be required in advance by credit card, debit card or childcare voucher. You can then submit your claim via HMRC. Click here for more information.

Cancellations

Cancelling of booking by customer?

For a cancellation of a booking J and C Academy will require 48 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled activity start date.

As J and C Academy operates a no refund policy, customers who cancel their booking before the 48 hours’ notice period will receive a full credit note issued onto their J and C account.

No credit notes will be issued for activities which are cancelled within the 48 hours’ notice prior to the activity start date.

Please note: Credit notes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

What age of children do you accept?

Our Breakfast and After School Care welcome children aged 5 – 12 in line with our Ofsted registration

J and C Academy Holiday Clubs welcome children aged 5 – 12 for a full day of activities as per the timetables in our settings.

How can I book?

You can book online here or by calling our booking Team on 020 3291 4387.

How can I pay?

J and C Academy accept payment by major debit or credit cards with the exception of American Express and also accept Childcare Vouchers. Payment is required in advance of attendance.

What will my child do at the breakfast and after school club?

We offer a variety of activities that include; Team Academy, Academy Arts, Academy Drama, Academy Sports, Active Academy. You can see a sample timetable here.

What are J and C policies/procedures?

J and C Academy have full operating policies and procedures including safeguarding, Child Protection, health & safety, inclusion, behaviour management, etc all in line with Ofsted requirements. These are available within our bookings system T&C’s or available to view at any of settings.
